How to Invent yourself Online and Stay on Track
Creating your own identity
How do you create yourself?
What bits of yourself do you pick out and put on a display?
The pretty ones like the best baked cake?
A writer can never judge his/her own writing. When you build your own website of yourself how do you choose? Here comes marketing techniques brace yourselves! Not all marketing is bad! However, one has to approach marketing with caution. I have been working in a field for nearly ten years and I still fall for great marketing!
When you are creating yourself online you’ve got to think what’s the actual purpose, reason for being online? What’s your goal? What is it that you are trying to achieve? For instance, you want to sell a product then you have to think of the unique USPs (unique selling point) and how it benefits the audience you are targeting.
It’s always about the value
What value does your product bring? If it’s a phone, for instance, it helps people get in touch with their loved ones. If it’s a writer how does your writing helps others? Then you’ve got to know how you can stand out from the crowd or how your product stands out from the crowd. That’s why it’s important to know your USPs. Once you nailed that you can sail through it.
