Everyone wants to live their dreams!
Everyone has gifts!
We choose if we decide to pursue the gifts that we have or we do a 9 to 5 job. I don’t see anything wrong with a 9 to 5 jobs. Every job I’ve ever had taught me something and it was valuable to me. I have always been writing but never really seriously. I write every day now. So how do I do it while working on the “real stuff” or other business?
Understand what is it that you want to do
What is it that you are trying to achieve? Become an expert in your field? Earn tons of money? Is it a hobby you’d like to pursue more? Do you want it to become full-time or part-time? What’s your vision?
You have to know exactly what you want to achieve in order to achieve it.
You cannot start a journey without knowing the destination. It’s like setting a GPS you’ve got to know where you start from and where you are heading.
Only when you set your ‘destination’ you can plan action steps. I couldn’t possibly start writing without knowing the purpose of it. I couldn’t write one article without knowing its purpose. Everything one does has to have a purpose otherwise one floats in life without much meaning. You set your own meaning to your life and to your day and every second of your life. Think about what you are trying to achieve and move forward.
Then you’ve got to make a decision. A decision on how you are going to stick to it. What actions or steps you need to take in order to reach your goal. You cannot start exercising without knowing what you want to achieve. Every day you’ll be exercising new part of the body, for example, one day legs, another day abs and the rest of it. You’ve got have a schedule of the little steps it’s ‘never I thought about it’ and ‘then I am there’.
Focus keeps you focused
It’s so easy to lose focus. Life is busy. There’s only that much you can do in a day. In order to get things you want to do you’ve got to have focus. If I am running around like a headless chicken I will never get anything done. If, however, I know where I am going, I know what my focus is and what steps I am taking I am more likely to fit it anything I want. As the saying goes, if you want to get anything done give it to a busy person.
Focus keep you on the straight and narrow. It’s so easy to get into I am not feeling well, today is my day off, I’ll give a rest for one day and so on. Focus keep you out of that hole. Focus gets you up in the morning knowing that you are closer to your goal. One step at a time, one day at a time, one word at a time you are closer in getting to your goal.
Hard work is what makes it
One cannot escape the hard work. Hard work is probably the core that keeps it all going. If you don’t work hard you will not get to the results. No matter of your goal, focus and decision making. If don’t work hard you haven’t got any tangible results.
Everything is a dream until you work hard.
For instance, I can have my vision of being the best writer. I can have my goals for becoming a great writer. I have made a decision to be the best writer I possibly can.
However, I don’t work hard all of it it’s nothing but a dream. I don’t have anything if I don’t work hard. Hard work is what translates your dreams into reality. Hard work is what makes it all come together. Hard work what builds your dreams into something you’ve always wanted. You’ve got to work hard otherwise it’s all for nothing.
Challenges will always be part of life
Challenges will always keep you away from achieving your dream. However, if you see challenges as another step or another way to reach your dream then it’s fantastic. Embracing challenges is what makes it all worthwhile. If it was easy you probably wouldn’t even want to do it anyway. Challenges is a bitter sweet cherry on the cake.
You get sweet results if you set yourself to create your dream into a reality and stick to it for a long period of time. You will become your better self. You will have achieved your goal and learned a lot more than you’d ever thought you would. Is it worth doing? Ask yourself what is your dream worth to you? You’ll know the answer and you’ll know what to do next.
